Non-Invasive Skin Treatments

Because of its thicker dermis, Asian skin tends to exhibit less fine wrinkling than European skin at a comparable age.

Because of higher melanin content, however, the Asian face develops a higher incidence of darkly pigmented lesions like kertoses and lentigines, especially with advancing age.

Less invasive skin freshening can be accomplished with medical spa-level procedures such as microdermabrasion, non-ablative lasers that don't disrupt the skin, and a wide variety of minimally invasive rejuvenation treatments employing mild energy sources like intense pulsed light (IPL) and radiofrequency (RF).

Pigmentary disturbance after such mild treatments is less common than with stronger chemical or laser skin peel.

Don't expect too much.

Minimally invasive procedures tend to produce minimal results at best. Non-invasive procedures tend to produce...well, you probably get the idea.
