While some claim that the quality of plastic surgery is noticeably higher in Japan than in, for instance, South Korea, such sentiment seems to be more historical in basis.

Patients may indeed be more pampered during treatment but their results appear comparable to those obtained by skilled plastic surgeons in other less pricey Asian centers of cosmetic excellence.
