Upper lip reduction, also known as reduction cheiloplasty, is used to reduce lip size when an overly prominent lip decreases the distance between the bottom of the nose and top of the lip and obliterates the cupid's bow contouring.
The incision is made along the inside of the mouth and so creates no visible scar.
