Asian buccal fat excision, also known as as buccal lipectomy, can reduce some of the fullness in the lower cheeks and slim the facial contour. Its effect occurs below that achieved with surgery on the cheek bone.

The incision is hidden inside of the mouth along the inside of the cheek.
