Display (Image) Advertising Rates
Effective: September 1, 2011
Note: Because of the effort involved in self-administered display advertising, we will only consider potential clients proposing a minimum spend of $500. If your budget is less, we recommend using the Google-administered self-serve PPC text ad program.
The Asian Plastic Surgery Guide is pleased to offer highly-targeted display of a limited number of ads on a prestige site. Ads must be fully on-topic and designed for traffic generation rather than SEO purposes. As per search engine guidelines, all ads are marked as such with outgoing links that carry a rel=nofollow attribute.
Ads may be placed on any interior website page except in the Before and After section, subject to space limitations. Ad specifications are noted below; both ad sizes are priced the same.
We presently receive nearly two million page views per year. Prices, however, are fixed rate (i.e., not based on page views, monitored click-throughs, or other metrics).
Minimum term is 4 months, except as noted for home page placement, which is 1 month.

Conditions to receive volume discount or run of site rates:
• Single art design (different art designs revert to standard rates)
• No art changes during 4 month term
Ad Specifications (advertiser to provide finished copy)
• Sizes accepted (both priced the same):
Sidebar rectangle: 250 x 180 pixels or less
Horizontal banner below main content: 468 x 100 pixels or less
• Design must be compatible with general feel of the site and in good taste (e.g., no superlatives)
• No ad movement (flash, animated .gif, etc)
• Client to provide finished graphic as 72 dpi .jpeg, .gif, or .png file only

Payment
• Minimum spend is $500.
• Secure payment online by credit card processed by PayPal.
• Full payment is due prior to initial online display.
• No refunds after client approval and initial online display.
