Pay-Per-Click Text Ads
(program administered independently by Google)
We do not manage the text ads shown in the "Ads by Google" sections found on most pages of our site. To display a text ad in one or all of these slots, you must use the Google Adwords program and specify a "managed placement."
To do so, you must already have an active Google AdWords account or you may set up a new account at Google.
To specifically target our site or a particular page within our site, you will need to adjust your Campaign settings on the Google AdWords control panel.
1. On your "Campaigns" page, enable your desired AdWords campaign to run on the "Display Network".
2. Select "Managed Placements" instead of automatic placement.
3. Specify either our entire site or a specific page on our site that you wish to target by entering in the URL.
4. Specify the bid amount for this managed placement (may vary per URL). Since Google PPC ad display is competitive, the amount of your bid will determine whether or not your ad is actually shown.
